When you are cooking something for dinner, such as spaghetti, cook double the amount of meat/sauce that you will need, and freeze half. The next time you want spaghetti, you just need to thaw the sauce while you are making the noodles, and presto—Dinner is served! Or with Shepherd’s Pie, prepare a double recipe and cook some now, but don’t bake one of them—cover tightly with plastic wrap and freeze. Later, let in thaw in the fridge for 1-2 days, exchange the plastic wrap for foil to bake, and you will have a freshly-baked dinner with zero effort!
